New Japan has provided updated cards for each of the events. Ibushi was primarily scheduled to compete in multiple person tag team matches. The tag matches simply were reduced in size with Jado being removed on the opposing team. In smaller matches, Ibushi was replaced by Rocky Romero.
It is unknown if Ibushi will be forced to miss his appearance at New Beginning in Osaka. He is set to team with Hiroshi Tanahashi, Juice Robinson & David Finlay to take on Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, Chase Owens and Yujiro Takahashi at the event.
Ibushi came up short at Wrestle Kingdom 14, losing to Kazuchika Okada on Night One and Jay White on Night Two.
