Samoa Joe has had a run of bad luck with injuries as of late. He missed four months with a broken thumb late last year, which resulted in an extended run with Joe on commentary.
Now, it is being reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet that he has been injured again, this time while filming a commercial. The report says Joe hit his head during a bad table break and could miss a considerable amount of time.
He was in the midst of a rivalry with Seth Rollins and his disciples. He and Kevin Owens had formed an alliance to combat the heel stable, meaning Owens will be missing his strongest ally going forward.
Joe also suffered a storyline injury on Raw on January 27. When he and Owens challenged Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy for the Raw Tag Team Championships, Joe took a hard fall to the outside. This resulted in the referees forcing Joe to go to the back to be checked out, leaving Owens alone to face the champions.
Joe has been forced to miss WrestleMania in the past. Hopefully, that will not be the case this year.
