All Elite Wrestling star Nick Jackson made his return to the ring on Being The Elite of all places. Jackson has been out of action since March 11 when he was found under a garage door.
Blood was dripping from his mouth as the door lay across his face. He has been unable to appear on AEW Dynamite as a result of the kayfabe injuries suffered. Now, he and his brother Matt wrestled an exhibition match on Being The Elite against two local jobbers.
With a brief exception, the Young Bucks took the whole match. After securing the victory, Nick mentioned that he is not yet 100% and teased doing something impressive to prove he is ready.
It will be interesting to see how long this angle will be drawn out. Nick’s injury is what led to Matt Hardy joining The Elite’s team for the Blood & Guts match but if Nick is able to recover before the match takes place, perhaps Hardy will not be needed.
This episode of Being The Elite also featured a match between SoCal Uncensored and Brandon Cutler and Peter Avalon. SCU was victorious and they later set up a match with the two local jobbers (Simon Lotto and Steven Andrews) for next week.
