On Monday after Raw, news broke that someone within the company had unfortunately tested positive for Coronavirus. It was later reported that this person was an active member of the NXT roster.
However, Ryan Satin is now reporting on Twitter that this isn’t the case, and the person who tested positive for the virus is a Performance Center recruit and not a member of the NXT roster.
Taking to Twitter, Satin had the following to say on the recent reports that the person who tested positive for the virus was a member of the roster who has wrestled on NXT TV in recent weeks.
Saw this on a few sites today. As I reported when this all broke, sources claim the person who tested positive is a PC trainee. Not someone on NXT TV. pic.twitter.com/Ct76a0Oz5E

“Saw this on a few sites today. As I reported when this all broke, sources claim the person who tested positive is a PC trainee. Not someone on NXT TV”.
For those that don’t know, news of the positive COVID-19 test was first broken by Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet before later being confirmed by WWE.
WWE has come under fire from people online for reportedly not informing talent of the positive test before news broke online. Talent reportedly found out about the test when we all did.
This is not the only conflicting report right now surrounding the Coronavirus in WWE. There is also debate around whether WWE told “fans” at Raw not to wear face masks.
