This week, it has been reported that several people within WWE (backstage staff, production crew and in-ring talent) have tested positive for Coronavirus.
In the last few days, various reports have emerged regarding the rough number of positive tests within WWE. The number is believed to be somewhere between 20 and 30.
In another report, PWInsider has noted that some people within WWE are shocked that their co-workers are going out socially despite the outbreak within the company.
Here’s what the site had to say on the matter:
“One conversation among WWE wrestlers over the last few days is disbelief towards those in the locker room who have been out socially at bars and gatherings and posting on social media in the wake of everything that has gone on since the company began informing them of COVID-19 positives.”
WWE has reportedly told talent to isolate at home or in hotels when they aren’t at TV tapings, so let’s hope that talent stick to that the safety in Florida and other states.
