The viewership numbers for the August 12 episodes of AEW Dynamite on TNT and WWE NXT on the USA Network have been revealed.
In overall average viewers, AEW was down to 792,000 this week, which is still one of its highest in recent weeks but down from last week’s 901,000.
Last week’s NXT drew 753,000 but that was all the way down to 619,000 for yesterday’s episode.
Moving into the important 18-49 demographic, Dynamite got a 0.32 rating, down from last week’s 0.36, and NXT got a 0.16 rating, down from 0.20.
AEW had promoted its tag team appreciation night hosted by FTR, featuring a World Tag Team Championship match and the Young Bucks in action, as well as the Chris Jericho vs Orange Cassidy rematch.
NXT, on the other hand, only really had the mystery opponent in the TakeOver three-way qualifier as something big to promote, which ended up being Velveteen Dream.
