The official viewership numbers for last night’s September 2 All Out go-home episode of AEW Dynamite on TNT has been revealed.
As per Showbuzz Daily, the show drew an average of 928,000 viewers, up from last Thursday’s 813,000, and is the show’s highest since March.
Dynamite this week was unopposed by NXT which aired on Tuesday instead and drew an average of 849,000 with a four-way 60-minute ironman NXT Championship match main event. There was a replay last night on SyFy which drew 183,000.
Last night’s Dynamite scored a rating of 0.36 in the important 18-49 demographic, which is up from last Thursday’s 0.29.
As we’ve noted in our coverage of Raw and NXT viewership so far this week, Nielsen has adapted its calculations to include viewing that occurs out of the home, such as bars and restaurants, so an increase in all sports-based shows is to be expected.
As noted, it was the final Dynamite before Saturday’s All Out pay-per-view. WrestleTalk.com will of course provide live coverage of the event this weekend.
