Earlier today, WWE announced the releases of The Authors of Pain, AOP. This seems to have come as a surprise to most fans.
It didn’t take long for Kevin Owens to comment. Apparently, he’s a big fan of the big duo:
Those guys beat the hell out of me for months…and I can say with complete honesty that I enjoyed every second of it.
Good luck, boys. Hopefully, we’ll share a ring again one day and if so, you can bet you have some receipts coming you way! https://t.co/04Ze9o1s9R

While they’be been off television since an injury to Rezar set them back, it always seemed odd that Akam didn’t just stick around as a big bodyguard for Seth Rollins.
Just the fact they were paired with Rollins made it seemed like they were destined for big things. Maybe they still will be. Many are speculating a future in NJPW or IMPACT.
The duo certainly has the frames NJPW have liked in the past for their big man heels. We’ll just have to see where the duo winds up.
