According to a new report, there are talks backstage for a major new heel stable to form in WWE led by current Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
As per WrestlingNews.co, there is talk in creative for Reigns to become the leader of a new faction on SmackDown, and we could be seeing it form pretty soon.
The report notes that Jey and Jimmy Uso are being discussed as members of the faction, as well as others to be added in the future.
At the October 25 Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, Roman Reigns defends the Universal Title against Jey in a rematch from Clash of Champions, which saw Reigns retain in decisive fashion.
The upcoming pay-per-view match will be the “next big chapter” in the story being told with Reigns – and there are many other names who will become involved in this story.
Jey Uso actually spoke in a shoot interview recently about potentially joining a faction led by Reigns, in which he said:
“The Bloodline will come on and off. That will always be there. But imagine us running that thing full-blown – and I would love to be heel – a heel faction. Hell yeah, bro! I wanna see some Samoan Swat Team 2.0 type of things, man. It’s written by itself, right?”
