An All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star has filed for a trademark on a slightly different ring name to the one he currently uses in the promotion.
As per Fightful, Greg Marasciulo filed for “Trent Beretta” on September 30.
Currently, he is only referred to as “Trent” in AEW, with his name officially listed as “Trent?” on the promotion’s website.
During his time in FCW when it was WWE’s developmental territory, he used the name “Trent Beretta” (as well as several other names), but for his WWE main roster career it was slightly respelled and he was “Trent Barreta”.
After leaving WWE, he worked under the name “Beretta” in New Japan Pro-Wrestling and Ring of Honor.
The trademark was filed with the following description:
