During tonight’s episode of NXT UK on the WWE Network the second semi-final for the Heritage Cup tournament took place and the final is now set.
In today’s semi-final, Trent Seven defeated Dave Mastiff to stamp his ticket to the final, where he will join A-Kid.
A-Kid’s road to the final consisted of wins over Flash Morgan Webster and Noam Dar, while Seven beat Kenny Williams and then Mastiff.
The final will take place in two weeks on the November 26 episode airing at 3pm ET/8pm GMT.
After the tournament winner is crowned the cup will be defended as a championship. Heritage Cup matches are contested under the following rules:
- All matches consist of six three-minute rounds.
- All matches are 2-out-of-3 Falls.
- Falls can won be won by pinfall, submission or count-out.
- Once a fall occurs, the round ends.
- The match ends once a wrestler has won two falls.
- In the event of a disqualification or knockout, the match instantly ends without the need for two falls.
- If all six rounds are completed, whomever is ahead on falls wins the match.
- There will be a 20-second break between each round.
