With Survivor Series looming on Sunday, WWE held two championship matches on WWE Raw. Randy Orton defended the WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre. Additionally, The Hurt Business challenged The New Day for the Raw Tag Team Championship.
The New Day were successful in the defense of the tag team titles. However, Randy Orton wasn’t so successful. Drew McIntyre is the new WWE Champion.
Early on, it looked like Randy Orton was just going to quit. He took off up the ramp, but Adam Pearce came out and made the match no DQ. Still, it looked like Orton would take advantage of the new stipulation. He attacked with chairs, tables, and stairs.

McIntyre eventually came back. McIntyre won the WWE Championship. This is his second championship win.
This sets up a huge match at Survivor Series. Drew McIntyre will face Roman Reigns at Survivor Series this Sunday in what should be a fantastic match.
As always, WrestleTalk will be providing live coverage of Survivor Series on Sunday.
