According to Fightful Select, WWE talent were only sent the final scripts for Monday Night Raw 25 minutes before the show was due to air live on the USA Network last night, with several changes being made.
Sean Ross Sapp is reporting that sources have told him that several factors, some of which were unfortunately out of WWE’s control, have meant that the aspects of the show have had to be changed over the last few weeks:
The final draft of tonight’s WWE Raw was sent out less than 25 minutes before the show went on the air. We’re told the last couple of weeks have seen some considerable changes, including some that were well beyond WWE’s control. We’ll have more on that this week.
While none of the factors “beyond WWE’s control” were mentioned, you have to think that these could be linked to a report made by Dave Meltzer which indicated that Braun Strowman is out with an injury.
Plans reportedly had Braun Strowman challenging Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at TLC, but the “Monster Among Men” is believed to have suffered an injury at Survivor Series, which might have led to several creative changes.
