In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer is reporting that a big match-up between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns is something that is on the table, but is not going to take place at WrestleMania 37.
This comes after it is being reported that Roman Reigns is going to defend his Universal Championship at the marquee pay-per-view in April against Edge, who won the men’s Royal Rumble match last weekend.
As far as an idea goes, Reigns vs. Lesnar at a WrestleMania is on the table as an obvious match down the line, but not this year. It’s a story with the Heyman storyline and there are many different ways you could tell it
At this time, there is no word on when WWE is planning to have Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns work together once again, but we do know that the match will not be taking place at WrestleMania this year.
We have obviously seen Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar work together several times before, but this new match-up would be different considering Roman Reigns is a heel and Paul Heyman is the manager for both men.
