In a recent Twitter Q&A, former WWE Champion CM Punk named a popular AEW star the best promo in wrestling today.
CM Punk is remembered for cutting one of the most iconic promos in WWE history, the Pipe-bomb. Punk has now revealed who he thinks is the best talker currently still competing.
On Twitter, Punk was asked by a fan who he thinks best holds their own on the mic. Punk gave a simple response, “Eddie Kingston”.

Eddie Kingston quickly gained popularity during his 2020 AEW feud with Jon Moxley. He unsuccessfully challenged Moxley for the AEW Championship at Full Gear 2020 in an I Quit match. He last competed at AEW’s first ever house show on April 9, defeating Cezar Bononi.
After Samoa Joe’s WWE release, another fan asked CM Punk the likelihood of him coming out of retirement to wrestle the Samoan Submission Machine. Punk didn’t rule out the idea, stating that “anything is possible“.
A recent report has outlined one reason why Samoa Joe was released from WWE, despite his popularity.
