NXT previously announced some matches and segments ahead of Tuesday’s show, including the return of Finn Balor to NXT TV.
At NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, Finn Balor was defeated by Karrion Kross for the NXT Championship. We will hear from Balor for the first time since his loss, this Tuesday.
NXT announced Balor’s return on Twitter, saying:
“@FinnBalor returns to the black-and-gold brand THIS TUESDAY on #WWENXT“
It will be interesting to see what the former Universal Champion does next, following his first ever NXT TakeOver loss.
Also announced for NXT, Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher will take on the Grizzled Young Veterans in a tag team match. This contest was also announced on Twitter:
“Timothy Thatcher & @NXTCiampa collide with @ZackGibson01 & @JamesDrake_GYT!”
A Falls Count Anywhere match was also advertised for the show. Leon Ruff will go one-on-one with Isaiah “Swerve” Scott in this extreme grudge match. NXT took to Twitter to build anticipation for this No-DQ contest:
“@LEONRUFF_and @swerveconfident are set to battle in a #FallsCountAnywhere Match THIS TUESDAY on #WWENXT
