Per reports, NXT Champion Karrion Kross is going to be “fast-tracked” to the main roster, with higher-ups liking his look and presentation.
Speaking on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that it’s just a matter of when WWE decides to call Karrion Kross up to the main roster, with the company being high on the former IMPACT star from when they signed him last year:
“I mean, Karrion Kross is getting fast tracked to the main roster. I don’t know when it is, but from the day he signed there was a question of how long until they bring him up. He’ll get his chance. They like his look, he talks well, he’s got good facial expressions. So, you know, we’ll see.”
This comes after it was reported that Karrion Kross and Bronson Reed were called to the Yuengling Center for SmackDown last night where they had dark matches for WWE officials, presumably with potential call-ups in mind.
While Meltzer didn’t reveal when WWE is going to be calling Kross up to the main roster, you have to think that WWE could have him drop the NXT title at the next TakeOver event in August, freeing Kross to move up to the main roster after SummerSlam.
