John Cena and The Rock have both commented on the return of fans to WWE events this week.
The Rock posted a tweet earlier today saying the fans will always be the backbone of the wrestling business. He said:
“Congratulations Vince and WWE Universe on this big milestone.
A live audience is and will always be the backbone of the pro wrestling industry. It’s what fuels our mana and I know what this means to all the wrestlers. Welcome back and as I always say, ‘move the crowd’.”
John Cena also tweeted his message of support for WWE, saying he will be watching very closely.
“I’m so happy and excited for the @WWE Superstars and of course the BIGGEST superstar IN the #WWE… the @WWEUniverse! I’ll be watching very closely!”
John Cena will reportedly be making his return to WWE imminently. It was recently reported that he will be making his return by the July 23 episode of SmackDown.
There have also been reports of the WWE return of The Rock. The latest word was that he could be appearing at Survivor Series to start building to a match with Roman Reigns.
