Former WWE Divas Champion Paige has provided an update on her neck injury, celebrating a fitness accomplishment.
In April 2018, Paige announced her retirement from wrestling due to injury. She is still signed with WWE and has made occasional appearances onscreen since in non-wrestling roles.
Paige recently took to Twitter to note that her neck feels awesome. Overcoming her fear of working out, Paige tweeted:
“You guys I’m getting stronger. squatting 185lbs again. I know it’s not a ton but it’s a big accomplishment for me who was worried to do any gym stuff because of my neck. But my neck is feeling so awesome. I’m so proud of myself.”
Earlier this year, Paige revealed that she was looking to have another exam on her neck in hopes of being cleared to wrestle again. In June however, the WWE star noted that she’d be terrified to step back into the ring.
Paige’s last WWE match was at a WWE Madison Square Garden house show in December 2017.
