The entire world of professional wrestling has been talking about CM Punk’s rumoured AEW debut next Friday on AEW Rampage, but now it appears the rumours have hit non-wrestling outlets.
Last night (August 14), NFL Network’s Adam Rank was discussing the Chicago Bears vs Miami Dolphins preseason game, when he referred to the debut of quaterback Justin Fields as ‘the most anticipated debut in Chicago’ until… well you know when. He said:
“I think that was the most-anticipated debut in Chicago until Friday when, presumably, CM Punk shows up on AEW.”

The rumours of CM Punk’s debut are circling all around the media world, including from Punk himself, who dropped a few ‘All Elite’ references on commentary during an MMA fight last night.
AEW president Tony Khan has claimed that fans ‘know exactly what to expect’ from next week’s Rampage show.
