The answer to one of wrestling’s greatest ever questions was finally put to bed once and for all last night (August 20).
No, that question was not ‘when will CM Punk return to professional wrestling?’, although we did finally get the answer to that one too. No, the question in question was one often asked towards AEW announcer Tony Schiavone.
Schiavone took to his Twitter account after Punk’s return last night to confirm that, after all these years, THIS was the greatest night in the history of our great sport.
Tony tweeted:
I have been asked many times: Hey Schiavone, what is the greatest night in the history of our great sport? My answer: This! #CMPunk #AEW

Schiavone will be at the desk for the upcoming AEW Dynamite show in Milwaukee, where CM Punk will make his AEW Dynamite debut.
