WWE has confirmed two new Women’s Championship matches for the upcoming Halloween Havoc edition of NXT 2.0.
On last week’s show, Toxic Attraction came to the ring to fight NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez, before NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Io Shirai & Zoey Stark made the save.
On tonight’s (October 12) show, Toxic Attraction cut a promo, where they announced that Mandy Rose will challenge Raquel Gonzalez for the NXT Women’s Championship. Raquel later accepted the challenge for Halloween Havoc, and made the match the return of ‘Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal’.
Later in the night, Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta were victorious in tag team action, before making their claim for the NXT Women’s Tag Team championship. This led to a brawl between them, the champions and Toxic Attraction, before a three-way tag team match was made official for Halloween Havoc.
Also on tonight’s show, Tommaso Ciampa defeated Joe Gacy, confirming that his defence at Halloween Havoc will remain a one-on-one match with Bron Breakker.
NXT Halloween Havoc is set to air on Tuesday, October 26 on USA Network.
