As per PWInsider, a match involving WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns has been advertised locally for the next edition of SmackDown.
The local advertising on FOX over this weekend has revealed that the Tribal Chief will do battle with King Woods on the November 12 show.
On the most recent edition of SmackDown, Woods and Kofi Kingston defeated The Usos in a match with the stipulation that Jimmy Uso would have to ‘bend a knee’ if his team lost.
Before Jimmy could acknowledge anybody, Reigns attacked Woods, before the Bloodline brutalised Kingston’s knee.
Reigns last wrestled on WWE TV during last month’s Crown Jewel event, defeating Brock Lesnar to retain his gold. This was the show that saw Xavier Woods officially crowned ‘king’, after he defeated Finn Balor in the King of the Ring finals.
The next WWE pay-per-view is Survivor Series, on November 21. The teams representing Raw and SmackDown for the traditional 5-on-5 matches have been revealed.
