When Hangman Adam Page and Bryan Danielson last met for the AEW Championship, the match went to a 60-minute time limit draw, leaving their continued rivalry open for an epic rematch, which is currently scheduled for the first edition of AEW Dynamite on TBS on January 5th.
However, this time to ensure the match had a decisive victor, it has previously been announced that there will be three guest judges on hand in order to equitably and fairly determine a winner in the event that the time limit is reached again.
It seems the judges’ table is beginning to take shape as AEW star Max Caster tweeted today that he would be one of the judges, writing:
️ Yo! Listen! ️
Just got the call!
Since Platinum Max is the Best Wrestler Alive ™, @AEW has booked me to be one of the judges for the World Title match!
Don’t worry! I’ll call it down the middle! Let’s go, Bryan #AEWDynamite#MicDrop ⬇️ pic.twitter.com/eFqEHBW3xt

So far no other judges have been reported, although in their promo introducing the idea of a judges panel, Page was noted as saying “let’s get some old guys some paychecks,” so we may possibly see some surprise appearances from wrestling legends.
The first edition of AEW Dynamite on TBS is currently scheduled to also feature bouts between Malakai Black and Brian Pillman Jr, Ruby Soho vs Jade Cargill in the AEW TBS Championship Tournament Final, and Lucha Brothers defending against Jurassic Express for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
