Here’s what happened with Seth Rollins after the January 7 edition of SmackDown went off the air.
In the closing moments of Friday’s episode, it was revealed that Rollins will challenge for Roman Reigns’ Universal Championship at Royal Rumble on January 29.
This reveal came as a shock to many, as Rollins is part of the Raw roster, and last wrestled in a #1 contenders match for the WWE Championship on Monday’s show.
After SmackDown, Rollins took to the ring, before he was attacked by The Usos. Rollins ultimately got the upperhand, delivering Curbstomps to Both Jimmy and Jay, while the arena chanted for him to ‘burn it down’.
