IMPACT World Champion Moose has teased a match with WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
On the January 7 edition of SmackDown, 19 competitors were announced for the women’s Royal Rumble, including current IMPACT Knockouts Champion Mickie James.
IMPACT Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore has since stated that IMPACT and WWE came to an agreement over James’ announced appearance.
Speculating about an inter-promotional match against the Tribal Chief, Moose tweeted:
“I Claim to be the Wrestling God. He claims to be The Head of the Table. With all this Forbidden Door talk….. what if …. @WWERomanReigns”

Moose notably referenced Roman Reigns in a promo on the November 4 edition of IMPACT, following Bound For Glory.
WWE reportedly no longer has an issue with talent being contracted to other companies when working with them. More on this backstage update at this link.
