Former SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks made her return on tonight’s (January 28) episode of SmackDown in Kansas City.
Sasha was reportedly set to miss 6-8 weeks of action with a foot injury suffered back on January 2, but Fightful Select noted that she was ahead of schedule, and could be back in time for the Rumble after all.
That did indeed happen, as Sasha made her return during the opening segment of tonight’s SmackDown, where she declared her entry into the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble.
