TJ Wilson (Tyson Kidd) has received a lot of compliments, specifically from female talent, for his work on producing matches for WWE, as Wilson is the primary producer for a lot of the women’s segments on the shows.
That said, Wilson was not present at the 2022 Royal Rumble, with Fit Finlay, Shane Helms, Molly Holly, Pat Buck, and Michael Hayes producing the women’s Royal Rumble match.
Fightful Select (subscription required) is noting that Wilson has not been producing matches for WWE for several weeks, with several stars saying the reason was tied to this Royal Rumble.
Fightful confirmed that Wilson is still with the company as a producer, but his absence was felt on Saturday, with those who participated in the match saying it was a ‘mess’.
One talent called the match ‘complete chaos’, with at least one women’s talent passing on participating in the match when they learned that Wilson would not be producing it.
