WWE star Apollo Crews has teased the formation of a new faction, naming the top WWE stars he’d be interested in starting a stable with.
At WrestleMania 37 last year, it was revealed that Apollo had formed an alliance with Commander Azeez. The former Intercontinental Champion has stated that there’s still time for him to build a full team on WWE TV.
Speaking with Wrestling Inc, Apollo recalled his run as part of Titus Worldwide, noting that his partnership with Commander Azeez is a ‘good different’. Willing to consider Bianca Belair, Sasha Banks, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander for his potential faction, Apollo said:
“It’s fun, so I never got to do them a lot with Titus. We did some stuff with Titus Worldwide, but not on the level that we are doing now, so it’s fun. It’s nice to try new things, and it’s different but a good different.
“And that’s the thing, there’s still time for that though, who’s to say that can’t happen. If I can add someone, I am going to the women’s side and I’d have to go with either Bianca or Sasha. Imagine one of those two, imagine that,” he said. “And then, I might have to steal the old Hurt Business members, Shelton and Ceddy. When you talk about talent, those two, it doesn’t get any better than that.”
Apollo last wrestled on the January 17 edition of Raw, teaming with Commander Azeez, Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler to take on The Street Profits & The Mysterios. Ziggler recently responded to Bron Breakker’s recent comments on Twitter, teasing an NXT Championship feud.
