More backstage insight has been provided on plans for Stone Cold Steve Austin and Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38.
Following Kevin Owens’ invitation on Monday’s episode of Raw, Austin agreed to appear on the KO Show on WrestleMania 38 Saturday (April 2). Despite Austin telling Owens that he can call their showdown ‘a match, a fight or a brawl’, the WWE preview lists the segment as a confrontation rather than an official match.
Per the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Austin has been training for an extended fight scene:
“What we do know is that Austin has been upping his cardio, so the plan is for a fight scene, and not just a quick stunner.
Austin’s last full match took place in 2003, 19 years ago.
