TJ Wilson (Tyson Kidd) appears to have returned to his backstage producer role, ahead of WrestleMania 38 this weekend.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Wilson was listed as a producer for a match on Monday’s episode of WWE Raw. The report noted that Fightful is working to confirm that Wilson was backstage, but can confirm that he was internally listed.
Wilson had been absent from tapings since January 14, before Royal Rumble, which initially led to speculation that he had left WWE.
The former WWE Tag Team Champion had reportedly been taking time off to heal his neck, which had flared up. Wilson suffered a career-ending neck injury in a match with Samoa Joe in 2015.
Wilson’s work is often celebrated by WWE talent, especially names from the women’s roster. The producer notably worked on every women’s match at WrestleMania 37, including Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks’ main event.
There are currently three women’s division matches slated for WrestleMania 38, this Saturday and Sunday.
