Toni Storm has noted that Tegan Nox (Nixon Newell) is at the top of her list of stars she wants to see join AEW.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio , Storm praised Newell’s passion for pro-wrestling, noting:
“Tegan Nox, I would have to say would be high up on that list (of people I would like to see in AEW). I think that would be someone who would really deserve an awesome spot like that and I know she loves this business as much as I do so that would be cool to see that one day in the future. Who knows? Anything can happen. It’s pro wrestling.”
Newell was released from her WWE contract in November 2021, last wrestling on WWE TV during the August 20 edition of SmackDown.
Toni Storm requested her release that December, after flying herself home from a house show. Storm has opened up about her WWE departure, which you can read more about right here.
Storm has since signed with AEW, and has qualified for the Owen Hart Cup Tournament.
