Another member of the AEW men’s roster has qualified for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament on tonight’s episode of AEW Rampage.
In a hard-fought battle against Tomohiro Ishii, Adam Cole has qualified for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, joining other male roster members already having qualified, Samoa Joe and Kyle O’Reilly.
Cole joins his real-life partner Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. who also recently qualified for the women’s bracket of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament as well joining Ruby Soho, Red Velvet, Hikaru Shida, Toni Storm and Jamie Hayter who had already also qualified to enter the women’s tournament.
On last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the first actual match for the tournament was announced to be Toni Storm vs. Jamie Hayter.
The Owen Hart Memorial Cup Tournament is currently announced to begin in May 2022 and will feature both a men’s and a women’s tournament to crown the inaugural winners at AEW’s Double or Nothing with plans for Dr. Martha Hart, Owen’s widow, to be in attendance at the event.
