AEW has now deleted a Twitter post featuring a hype video for MJF vs Wardlow, ahead of tonight’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
As previously noted, AEW shared a five minute promo video for the match earlier today, appearing to confirm that the contest will go ahead as planned.
There has been some uncertainty surrounding MJF’s status for the pay-per-view after he no-showed a AEW Fan Fest Meet & Greet.
While the promo video is still up on YouTube, the tweet sharing the link was deleted. Sean Ross Sapp has shared a screenshot of the post, which you can view below:

As of writing, AEW hasn’t announced that the match is off.
Following reports that a plane flight was booked for MJF to leave Las Vegas on a cross-country flight, an update revealed that MJF did not board the plane.
MJF was scheduled to face Wardlow in a singles match with the stipulation that if Wardlow loses, he will be permanently banned from signing with AEW.
We will continue to provide updates on the situation as they become available.
