One popular AEW star is taking a shot at AEW’s new World Champion CM Punk today on Twitter ahead of AEW Dynamite.
Taking to Twitter to share a side of sass with his ass, Colten Gunn dropped a hot take about his match on tonight’s (June 1) edition of AEW Dynamite coming to fans live from Los Angeles.
One half of the Gunn Club (or ‘Ass Boys’ depending on who you ask) Colten Gunn said of tonight’s match – which sees him teaming with Max Caster and his typical tag-partner, brother Austin Gunn to take on the new AEW World Champion CM Punk and FTR, Dax Wheeler and Cash Harwood – that it will be an “easy dub against the Bret Hart weirdos”.
CM Punk became the face of AEW at AEW’s major pay-per-view, Double or Nothing over the weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada as AEW continues to invade the West Coast.
Tonight’s event at LA’s famed Los Angeles Forum is set to feature a stacked card including the aforementioned trios match, as well as a big 10-man tag team match which will see Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, Christian Cage, Matt Hardy and Darby Allin up against the Young Bucks, reDRagon and NJPW star, Hikuleo.
It remains to be seen if Gunn is allowing his mouth to write checks that neither of the Ass boys’ asses can cash, however you can tune into AEW Dynamite tonight to find out for yourself or follow along with WrestleTalk’s live results coverage.
