WWE Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair believes that she will soon be known as ‘Mrs WrestleMania’, following recent performances at the event.
If including pre-shows, Belair made her WrestleMania debut at WrestleMania 34 as one of the standout competitors in the women’s battle royal. Her first singles match on the Grandest Stage of Them All was in the main event of WrestleMania 37 against Sasha Banks.
Belair defeated Banks for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at the 2021 event, before going on to win the Raw Women’s Title from Becky Lynch a year later at WrestleMania 38.
Speaking with Sports Illustrated, Belair recalled people joking that she will soon become Mrs WrestleMania. Wanting to make this a reality, Belair said:
“I feel like I’m on my way to becoming Mrs. WrestleMania. It’s funny, after the match at this year’s WrestleMania against Becky, people were teasing me backstage, saying, ‘You’re about to become Mrs. WrestleMania.’ That’s been put out in the atmosphere, and it’s a really cool goal to try to achieve.”
Belair defends her Raw Women’s Championship tonight against Asuka and Becky Lynch at Hell in a Cell. You can view the updated card for the premium live event at this link.
