Former Ring of Honor World Champion Rush made his AEW television debut on tonight’s (June 24) episode of AEW Rampage.
The show opened up with Andrade El Idolo taking on Rey Fenix in singles action. The finish saw Rush run out and hit a low blow on Fenix to help Andrade pick up the victory.
After the match, Andrade and Rush both put on t-shirts for ‘La Faccion Ingobernable’, which is the group that both men are a part of in AAA.
Rush made his first AEW appearance back at Double or Nothing, where he appeared on a pre-taped video aligning with Andrade El Idolo.
Neither Andrade or Fenix will be in action at this Sunday’s Forbidden Door show due to contractual issues between AAA and CMLL.
