Former NXT Tag Team Champion Oney Lorcan (Biff Busick) has been making the rounds on the independent scene since his WWE release back on November 4, 2021.
Busick has appeared for GCW, Beyond, DPW and more during his time on the independents, but hasn’t competed since his match with Alec Price in Beyond Wrestling back on June 12.
This was not due to a shortage of opportunities, as Busick himself confirmed on Twitter today, that he has decided to take some time away from performing in the ring.
He wrote:
If you have contacted me about bookings, I apologize if I haven’t immediately gotten back to you. I’ve decided to take some time away from performing in the ring. Thank you.
Busick was in one of many peoples top matches of 2022 so far back at the GCW Bloodsport 8 event, when he went to war with current interim AEW World Champion Jon Moxley in a match that was given four and a half stars in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
