Independent promotion Limitless Wrestling announced that JD Drake has been pulled from Saturday’s (July 23) ‘Crunch Time’ event.
The promotion took to Twitter to note that JD Drake’s scheduled bout against Dezmond Cole has been cancelled.
Noting that the card change is due to a ROH decision, Limitless Wrestling tweeted:
#CrunchTime UPDATE: ROH has pulled @RealJDDrake from our event tomorrow in Yarmouth. He will not be competing against Dezmond Cole.
Da Big Boofa will still be in VLC Qualifying action.
Drake last wrestled for AEW during this week’s AEW Dark: Elevation taping, facing off against Konosuke Takeshita.
ROH’s second pay-per-view under the Tony Khan banner, Death Before Dishonor, also airs on Saturday night. As of writing, JD Drake hasn’t been announced for the event. It has been reported that several unadvertised names are travelling to Lowell, MA for the event.
In the main event of the show, Jonathan Gresham will defend his ROH World Championship against AEW’s Claudio Castagnoli.
