Fans were taken aback on the August 5 episode of WWE SmackDown, when the live crowd chanted ‘you tapped out’ and booed SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan.
Morgan had been beloved by the fans since her feud with Becky Lynch earlier this year, including during her short lived tag team with Rhea Ripley.
The team came to an end when Ripley betrayed Morgan and joined the Judgment Day, which Ripley reminded Morgan of following the show, taking to Twitter to let her know there is still a spot open in the group for Liv.
She said:
The @WWE Universe booing @YaOnlyLivvOnce… Fickle. Liv there’s still room if you decide to stop caring about everyone’s opinion. #JoinUs #TheJudgmentDay #WWESmackdown
Shayna Baszler won a gauntlet match on last night’s show, earning her a SmackDown Women’s Championship match against Morgan at Clash at the Castle.
