While Triple H has been re-signing many former WWE stars under his reign as the head of creative in the company, several WWE stars who had previously been off TV have also made returns.
Last week, Kevin Owens made his return on the show, laying out Ezekiel and sending him out on a stretcher. This was followed by Ronda Rousey making her return on SmackDown, where she paid off her ‘fine’ following her actions at SummerSlam.
The next of these returning stars was Mr Money In The Bank, Theory, who made his first appearance on the show since he was left laying by Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.
Theory and Dolph Ziggler got into a brawl backstage, setting up a match between the two for later in the show, which Theory won.
Theory’s uncle passed away shortly after SummerSlam, which was likely the reason that he missed two weeks of WWE television.
