It was officially announced today that WWE’s NXT UK brand would be going on hiatus following the upcoming Worlds Collide show on September 4.
In it’s place, the brand will be reimagined into NXT Europe, which is officially set to be launched in 2023.
Various WWE stars have come through NXT UK and the European wrestling scene, including Intercontinental Champion Gunther (WALTER), who was the longest reigning champion in the history of the NXT UK brand.
Gunther, Finn Balor and other WWE, NXT and NXT UK stars have taken to Twitter to react to the rebrand.
The whole of Europe has a rich history of Pro Wrestling.
In the last decade, a lot of people have unselfishly put in the work to revive this great sport at our doorsteps.
Im excited for the talent and fans. https://t.co/Ll9OmZn6op
