Last week’s AEW Dynamite show saw one of the most shocking moments in AEW Dynamite history, when Jon Moxley squashed CM Punk in three minutes to unify the AEW World Championships.
The ending got a lot of people talking, and Moxley wasn’t waiting to talk. Moxley opened this week’s episode in Chicago to a mixed reaction.
Moxley says that we learned what CM Punk was made of last week, and he realised that no matter what he hit Mox with, he realised he wouldn’t care, and Punk was looking for a way out.
Moxley then apologised to Chicago that Punk didn’t turn out what he thought he would be, and that he’s sorry he didn’t turn out to be what everyone wanted him to be when he was brought back to wrestling.
Moxley then said that Punk had a fragile ego, fragile body, weak mind and weak spirit, before he said that he had an open contract for a title match for All Out. He already signed it and left it in the ring for whoever wanted a shot, whether that be someone from AEW or elsewhere.
Ace Steel came to the ring after Moxley left and picked it up before taking it to the back.
