Over the past few weeks, there have been reports of WWE sending out “feelers” to current AEW stars, with the hope of possibly convincing them to return.
While it was reported last week that some of the names WWE contacted may have included Malakai Black and FTR, another name that has been speculated is Miro, the former Rusev in WWE.
However, the Wrestling Observer’s Ryan Frederick has posted on the Wrestling Observer forum to say rumors of Miro wanting to return to WWE are false.
He wrote:
“Miro does not want to go back. The only guys that really want to go back are the ones who have significant others with the other company.”
It is believed part of the reason Malakai Black may want to return to WWE is that his wife, Zelina Vega, currently works there. The same may also be true for Buddy Matthews, who is currently dating WWE star Rhea Ripley, and who is currently on a pro-wrestling hiatus.
Miro’s wife, former WWE star Lana, is currently not signed by anyone, and has spent much of her time since being released by WWE focusing on other projects, including modelling.
