The viewership figure and demo rating for Friday’s (September 23) edition of WWE SmackDown on FOX has been revealed.
Per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, SmackDown drew 2.535 million viewers. This is up from the September 16 edition that drew 2.212 million viewers.
This is the highest total viewership for the program for 2022 and the highest overall since Christmas 2020, which had the NFL lead-in. Prior to that, it would be the highest since the first empty arena SmackDown in March 2020.
In the 18-49 demographic, Friday’s show scored 0.63 rating. This is up from the week prior that scored 0.50 rating.
SmackDown finished #1 in the demo across television for the night. This is the highest demo rating since the January 21 episode.
The show was heavily hyped to have the latest on the “White Rabbit” mystery and also featured Sami Zayn officially becoming the Honorary Uce of The Bloodline as well as The Usos defeating The Brawling Brutes to retain the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships.
