A top AEW tag team have called out Tony Khan to book them.
As previously noted, recent reports have revealed that WWE have reportedly been pursuing AEW talent to get out of their deals and return to the company.
Among the former WWE stars contacted that are currently in All Elite Wrestling was Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler of FTR.
The duo took part in NJPW Royal Quest II Night 1 event on October 1 to defend the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Titles against Aussie Open.
Following the bout, FTR got on the mic and had a few words for AEW President and CEO Tony Khan.
Ciaran of WrestleInn took to Twitter with a live photo of the team from the event and tweeted the following quote:
Dax Wheeler: “Tony Khan, we still work for you. Book us brother.”
FTR have only wrestled in 7 different two-on-two tag team matches on AEW Dynamite, Rampage or pay-per-view in 2022. Their last standard tag team match was on the May 25 edition of Dynamite.
The team previously mentioned being frustrated with not getting a match against The Young Bucks at All Out in a recent interview.
Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler are the current IWGP, AAA and ROH World Tag Team Champions.
