Just because Vince McMahon has retired doesn’t mean there weren’t still several changes made to WWE Raw lineup between production discussions and showtime!
According to a report from Fightful Select, WWE Raw had to have several changes made to the show before it could go live on air.
While the October 3 episode featured a lot of WWE stars, there were some changes that needed to be made in advance of show hitting the air live, including the main event.
According to the report, at one point the discussed main event for WWE Raw was actually Judgment Day vs. AJ Styles and Rey Mysterio.
Also, originally Asuka, Bianca Belair and Alexa Bliss were scheduled to accompany Candice LeRae to the ring for her match however instead, they interacted in a backstage segment.
It was during their interaction that WWE displayed the White Rabbit QR code for the first time in the episode, the second coming on the back of the contract signed by Belair and Bayley.
The go-home show ahead of WWE’s next premium live event, Extreme Rules also featured an interesting backstage production detail which you can read more about here.
