The OC are officially back together, as Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson made their return to WWE on the October 10 episode of Raw, aiding AJ Styles against Finn Balor and the Judgment Day.
There were rumours of interest in the team back when they were in IMPACT, but their return on Raw still came as a surprise, due to Anderson sill holding the NEVER Openweight Championship in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Fightful Select (subscription required) has provided an update on the Good Brothers’ NJPW status, with the pair working for the company without contracts, and have committed to dates through January’s Wrestle Kingdom 17.
NJPW confirmed to Fightful that they were aware that Gallows and Anderson were heading back to WWE, and that future NJPW dates would still be happening. One side also told Fightful that they were hopeful that the January 4 Wrestle Kingdom show would still be happening, but a lot can change from now and then.
Anderson and Gallows were only under a verbal commitment in Japan, and are being allowed to fulfill those duties, but they have officially signed with WWE, for what was said to be a “big money deal.”
WWE has announced the return match for Gallows and Anderson for next week’s Raw show, when they take on the Alpha Academy.
