Tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite has already featured one major return to AEW television although no, it isn’t the Elite!
Fans of 1998 Adam Sandler films however may be just as excited as they would be if it were!
Making an appearance on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, wrestling icon and legend, Paul Wight returned to AEW screens.
But not as “Paul Wight” mind you however the beloved movie character, Captain Insano!
Paul Wight appeared at the outset of the new diss track video dropped from The Acclaimed ahead of their big match at AEW Full Gear.
There certainly is still time in the show for another set of major returns as the AEW Trios Championship match pitting Death Triangle against Top Flight and AR Fox is set for big action soon.
Could it possibly lead to an angle with the still mysteriously absent Elite?
We’ll have to stay tuned to find out!
