The NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose has said she would ‘love it’ if Triple H brought back a wrestler who was previously released.
Since Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque took the creative reigns at WWE, he has bought back a number of former WWE stars, including Johnny Gargano, Mia Yim, Anderson & Gallows, Bray Wyatt and Karrion Kross.
Mandy Rose has said she would ‘love’ it if Triple H bought back her fiancé Tino Sabbatelli.
Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Mandy Rose shared her thoughts on if a Sabbatelli WWE return is on the cards, under Levesque’s regime.
She said:
“I mean, I don’t know. I would love that. I think there is so much, obviously, we know, there is so much missed opportunity and so much potential that we could see.”
Sabbatelli made his WWE TV debut on NXT in October 2016 and remained on the developmental brand until his release in 2020.
The former WWE star is in a relationship with Rose.
Mandy Rose agreed that Tino Sabbatelli is in great shape, but noted that the business can be hard.
She explained:
“I don’t get it either, and not a lot of people get it, but you know how it is in this business, it’s hard to get, but I mean, I think it would be awesome. I would love it. You never know, right?”
Sabbatelli notably appeared on AEW Dark in July 2020, where he performed under the ring name Sabby.
He re-signed with WWE later that year but was later released in June 2021 without competing in another match.
Mandy Rose recently celebrated a milestone as she became the third woman to hold the NXT Women’s Championship continuously for a year.
Rose’s most recent televised match saw her defeat Alba Fyre in a Last Woman Standing bout on the November 15 edition of NXT.
